From easy centerpiece ideas to updated vases and  hand-painted pillows, these summer decor DIY ideas will get your creative juices flowing!

Summer is the perfect time for a fun and easy DIY project. Head to your local craft store or thrift shop for a few simple materials, or search for items you already have on hand to create these fun and creative summer crafts.

1. Make your own pressed flower votive holders.

This pressed flower votive holder DIY is the perfect summer craft.

I found these cute votive holders at the Dollar Tree and ordered the pressed flowers from Amazon. You can choose colorful pressed flowers or stick to subtle greenery options for a pretty look.

2. Create a piece of coastal decor and original artwork using oyster shells.

A few years ago I updated our primary bathroom with a coastal look. I created this DIY oyster shell art in a frame for inexpensive wall decor.
