Seven on Saturday 5/11/24

Happy Mother’s Day weekend! Thank you so much for joining me for Seven on Saturday this weekend! I’m so glad you’re here for this little recap of our week!

I feel like I’ve spent the past two weeks recovering from all of the wedding festivities and fun! Last week was a bit of a struggle getting back into the normal schedule and workflow. I certainly felt my age, and felt like I dragged along all week long — probably a combination of the adrenaline rush and let down after the wedding, some sleepless nights due to allergies (did I mention the wedding was in an old barn), and the consumption of a little more sugar than I should have!!

But this week, I think I’ve found my stride again! So thankful for better routines and more energy!!

Kyle and Renee were married two weeks ago, and it was the sweetest, most perfect weekend! The venue was perfect and the weather was just beautiful. Renee was a stunning bride, and the weekend was full of so much beauty in so many ways!!

We were able to use the venue for the entire weekend, so also held the rehearsal dinner there as well. It was nice to have a little extra time to decorate for both events, but it did require a little extra planning for the switchover from rehearsal dinner to wedding. We had a good plan and plenty of help to make it all happen, so it actually went pretty quickly!

  1. Thank you so very much for sharing my post Kim! How kind of you. I am thrilled to hear that the wedding went well!!! What a relief right? I am so hung up on the wedding going well that I am losing sleep over it. Geesh what a nut I am! Thanks again for the share!

    1. Crystal, it was my pleasure!! Yes, it’s certainly a relief to have the wedding behind us. You have a few more details to worry about being the mother of the bride, and particularly hosting the event on your property! Try to enjoy the process and take care of yourself! It really is a wonderful time. When we would get stressed about the details we’d remind ourselves at the end of the day they’ll be married, and that’s what matters.
