Seven on Saturday: Pretty Details & Weekend Inspiration

Happy Saturday! We’ve had a little bit of spring and a little bit of winter this week, but this weekend’s weather is looking up! I’ve been in a creating and crafting mood lately, and I’m spreading lots of spring around our home this weekend — at least indoors!

Two decorative frames with green edges: one labeled "les FLEURS," the other adorned with floral designs. Below, a striped green and white fabric and a floral cloth with butterfly motifs rest together, offering weekend inspiration in pretty details on a clean white surface.

I found the prettiest spring items in Bullseye’s Playground at Target this week! These napkins are so pretty! I only grabbed 1 set, but I think I’ll grab another before they’re gone! And these picture frames are the cutest!

I’ve been hand-painting Easter eggs for an egg tree, and I can’t wait to show you those next week!

A person with long hair sits in the driver's seat of a car, smiling at the camera, capturing those pretty details. They are wearing a blue sweatshirt. The steering wheel and dashboard controls are visible. The car is parked near a building and another vehicle.

In family news — we found Caroline a car! As you can imagine, she was very excited about that! We picked her up from work in it one day this week!

We’re excited for Kyle’s concert here in Louisville next Friday night — can’t wait to see the show, and as an added bonus, Zach, Sarah, and sweet Eden will be in town!!

This Week on the Blog:

Do you love creating things for your home? I shared two great DIY projects this week that are perfect if you want to do a quick spring refresh.

Hand-Painted Tole Cachepots with Blue and White Trellis Pattern DIY

These hand-painted flower pots add an elevated look. I shared how I painted them and made the magnolia topiaries.

A grid of nine vintage butterfly illustrations, each with ornate borders in shades of green, brown, and blue. This free printable art features different butterfly species, showcasing diverse colors and patterns in every square.

This was a really fun project! I designed these vintage-inspired butterfly art printables in Canva, and I’m sharing the downloads with you so you can make your own!
