Happy Weekend! It’s a busy weekend around here with Caroline’s last full volleyball tournament weekend!

We’re also finalizing all the last minute wedding details, and everyone is starting to make their way to Louisville over the next few days for Wedding Week! I can’t believe it’s almost here! It’s going to be a fun and exciting week, and I hope we can all be in the moment and enjoy all the sweet details!

Today is Thunder over Louisville, the huge fireworks show that kicks off the Kentucky Derby Festival here in town. We most likely will catch the show on TV this evening, but it is a truly spectacular event to see in person! If you’re local, are you planning to head downtown to watch the show?

With the wedding just a week away, a lot of house details and DIY projects have been on hold for a week or so, but I did manage to get a new sisal area rug ordered for our living room. Our jute rug has seen better days, and I set out on a search to find a replacement for it.

What size rug for living room-- blue and white patterned rugs.

I shared all of my rug finds from my search in this blog post, along with my best tips for choosing the perfect size rug for your living room!
