If you read my Christmas theme post last week, you know that this year I’m leaning into deep classic colors of burgundy, gold, and green for the holiday season, and I’m so excited to give you a little glimpse! Let’s begin the tour!

A cozy Christmas display on a black table, featuring a nativity scene, framed art, a potted plant with festive ribbons, and decorative items. A round, ornate mirror hangs above, reflecting the warm, holiday ambiance.

The first stop on our tour is the foyer, where our entry table sets the tone for a meaningful Christmas season in our home. I love to display our Fontanini nativity scene here. This little nativity has been with us since the early years of our marriage, and since the heart of Christmas is Jesus, I love starting our decor here.

A festive holiday display featuring a gold sunburst mirror, a vase with greenery and a red ribbon, a framed artwork with the word "Hope," and a nativity scene with figurines arranged around a manger under a wooden structure.

I added a piece of artwork I found a few years ago at a Christmas market called A Thrill of Hope. If you know the Christmas carol, O Holy Night, you’ll recognize the line,

“A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn”

Since Jesus is our hope it’s the perfect complement to the nativity.

A blue-and-white ginger jar filled with a mix of evergreen stems adds a natural touch to the table. A plaid throw spilling out of a large basket brings in a cozy pop of burgundy, blue, and green, and a sweet angel figurine completes the vignette.

The two-story home interior exudes timeless elegance, showcasing a decorated staircase with a classic Christmas touch. A garland with red bows adorns the upper railing. The hallway features hardwood flooring, a console table with decor items, and a rug near the front door. Shelves are partially visible on the right.
A wooden staircase with light-colored walls, adorned with vibrant pink bows tied to the railing. Framed artwork hangs on the walls, and greenery is visible at the top. Natural light streams in from an unseen window above.
A decorated indoor staircase with a garland of green leaves and twinkling lights. Red bows adorn the railing. In the foreground, a partial view of a Christmas tree with red candles and pinecones adds to the festive atmosphere.

I was so excited to find this amazing 8-inch burgundy satin ribbon to use with the garland along our banister and railing! It was such a great deal, and I made six massive bows to hang along our railing that overlooks the living room and stairwell.

A cozy living room decorated for Christmas with a large tree adorned with lights and ornaments. The fireplace mantel is garnished with garland and red candles. A framed painting of snowy trees hangs above the fireplace. Plush chairs enhance the warmth.

Our living room is the heart of our home during the holidays, with an open floor plan that ties all the shared spaces together.

Large burgundy and gold bows cascade down the tree, a bit of a departure from my usual Christmas tree ribbon technique — but I joined in on the popular bow trend this year.

A beautifully decorated Christmas tree with red and gold ornaments, ribbons, and twinkling lights. In the background, there are festive candles and garlands on a mantel.

There are also handmade ornaments, including these DIY glittery stars and dried hydrangea wreaths, plus sentimental ornaments like our kids’ gold-leaf initials and framed photos. Even though the tree has a designer look, these personal touches make it meaningful for our family.

Tons of ornaments in varying shades of gold and burgundy, from matte to shimmer, fill the tree, along with little gold beads and red berries for texture.

A cozy living room exudes timeless elegance with its Christmas decor. The fireplace is adorned with garland, red ribbons, and candles, capturing a classic Christmas charm. Nearby, a lit tree dazzles in red and gold ornaments as a snowy landscape hangs above the mantel.
A festive mantel decorated with green garland, red velvet ribbon, and string lights. A collection of red, green, and gold ornaments rests beside a gold lamp. A TV is mounted above, and a window with striped curtains is partially visible.

The mantle features a more asymmetrical garland this year. I layered my favorite cypress garland which I’ve had for years with a Norfolk pine garland for a lush, draped look and added warm lights. I gathered ornaments along the mantle and brass candle holders with burgundy taper candles.

A cozy living room decorated for Christmas with a brightly lit tree adorned with ornaments. A comfortable beige sofa features festive pillows. The coffee table holds a decorative bowl with candles and greenery. Natural light streams in through large windows.
A festive living room decorated for Christmas, featuring a fireplace adorned with greenery and red ribbons, a painting of snowy trees above the mantel, and a Christmas tree with ornaments and lights. A wicker basket with pine decor sits nearby.

A large basket on the hearth holds faux greenery, a gold lantern, and giant wooden jingle bells. I purchased these wooden jingle bells last year from Walmart, but this year they sell a smaller version that are just as pretty!

A cozy living room with a beige sofa adorned with green, blue, and brown cushions. A vibrant abstract painting hangs above. The coffee table features a decorative tray with candles and greenery. Lanterns and plants decorate the area.
A festive arrangement with a lush green wreath adorned with a red ribbon, placed near two decorative wooden lanterns with candles inside. The background shows a blurred, nature-inspired painting.
A decorative nativity scene featuring three figurines in white robes, a baby in a crib, a donkey, and a sheep is displayed on a table. Surrounding the scene are lush green leaves and flowers, next to a rustic wooden lantern.

The sofa table behind the couch is styled with another nativity scene, a very large wooden vase overflowing with greenery and dried hydrangeas, and large wooden lanterns decorated with small wreath tied with velvet ribbon. The wreath was a $5 find from Target’s Bullseye’s Playground, which I customized with a little extra greenery to make it fuller.

A cozy living room scene with a white couch adorned with colorful pillows exudes timeless elegance. A console table behind it features a large floral arrangement, wooden lanterns with ribbon, and a decorative statue. A blue abstract painting hangs on the wall, completing this elegant home tour.
A festive dining table is set with elegant plates, gold goblets, red napkins, and tall red candles. A centerpiece of greenery and dried flowers adorns the table, with a decorated Christmas tree visible in the background.

In the dining room, I created a simple centerpiece with golden brown dried limelight hydrangeas, Norfolk pine branches, and faux eucalyptus stems in this white ceramic vase. I found the prettiest over-sized My Texas House burgundy ornaments at Walmart to place on the tablescape. They are absolutely gorgeous!

A dining room with a wooden table set for a festive meal. It features red and gold decorations, candles, and a centerpiece. Six white chairs surround the table. A mirror with a wreath hangs on the wall, and a chandelier is above. Natural light enters the room.
A festive table setting with amber glasses, a centerpiece of greenery and dried flowers, red candles, and decorative ornaments. A wreath is reflected in the mirror above the table, enhancing the holiday atmosphere.

For the table, I layered woven placemats, gold chargers, and my grandmother’s green-and-gold china. Burgundy eyelet napkins from TJ Maxx add a soft touch.

A festive holiday scene on a dark dresser exudes timeless elegance with small pine trees, white tree-shaped candles, and rustic pine cones surrounding a framed quote. Classic Christmas charm is added by a lamp and tall orange and brown candles in the arrangement.
A festive holiday display featuring pine branches, a small nativity scene, a white Christmas tree candle, a framed quote, and miniature evergreen trees. The arrangement includes pine cones and is adorned with winter-themed decor.

I spread large faux pine stems along the length of the buffet to create an organic feel. A mix of green and white bottle brush and glass trees completes the look.

A festive arrangement in a rustic wooden basket filled with evergreen branches, pinecones, and fairy lights. A red velvet ribbon decorates the basket. A framed art piece with blue floral patterns hangs on the wall in the background.

In the corner of the dining room, I added lots of greenery stems to a large urn and added cluster lights for a little twinkle to brighten this area of the room.

A festive dining room decorated for Christmas with a table set for four. The tablecloth features holly patterns, and the centerpiece includes greenery and berries. A small decorated tree and holiday ornaments are visible by the window.

The kitchen leans more toward classic red and green, but I’ve tied in the burgundy accents to keep it cohesive.

A festive table setting with a plate featuring a decorated Christmas tree design, surrounded by green and red holly-patterned tablecloth. A sprig of evergreen and red berries adorn the top part of the image. Silverware is placed beside the plate.

Isn’t this the sweetest vintage-look holly-and-berry tablecloth? I purchased it from Target last year, and I’ve paired it with green chargers and dark green napkins. For the centerpiece, I kept it very simple with a hurricane candle surrounded by greenery and berries on a large white tray.

A holiday-themed room with a Christmas tree to the left, decorated with red ornaments. A side table holds miniature houses, trees, and white cone-shaped decorations. Two lamps with white shades stand behind, near a window with greenery and red ribbons.

Our kitchen buffet displays a small collection of paper hand-crafted houses and bottle brush trees. I made most of these sweet little houses last year, and you can see the full DIY here.

A close-up of a decorated Christmas tree with bright green branches. Red and pink ornaments and red ribbons are neatly hung throughout the tree. Soft natural light filters in through a window in the background.

Our breakfast area features a small tree decorated with vintage ornaments in shades of red, pink, and green. I added cypress garland over the bay window and stacked mini wreaths tied with velvet ribbons that blend burgundy and red.

A festive holiday scene with decorated miniature houses and small pine trees adorned with snow. Red and green wreaths decorate the houses, and there's a large red ribbon in the background. The image conveys a cozy, wintry atmosphere.

Now, in the prep area of our kitchen, I added two small wreaths above the microwave.

A cozy kitchen decorated for the holidays features white cabinets adorned with wreaths, a stainless steel microwave, a stovetop with a kettle, and a countertop holding utensils, cutting boards, and festive décor.
Close-up of two festive wreaths hanging on a door. Each wreath features lush greenery, red berries, and a snowy touch, suspended by red tartan ribbons.

These are the same wreaths I mentioned earlier, which I found at Target in Bullseye’s Playground. I left the berries on these wreaths, and added a few small pieces of greenery to fill them out and make them look a little fuller. I tied them with plaid ribbon and hung them from the top of the cabinets. I love the cozy look they add to this area.

A holiday-themed dish towel hanging on an oven handle features a wreath with red berries. The text inside the wreath reads "All hearts come home for Christmas." A plaid towel is visible in the background.

My mom gave me this sweet Christmas dish towel last year. She knew how excited I was to have all the kids home, and it’s a lovely reminder that, as the saying goes, “All hearts come home for Christmas.”

A festive scene featuring a small potted plant with a red ribbon, a "Merry Christmas" sign, and a cranberry Canadian spice candle in a plaid container, all arranged on a round white tray.

Beside the refrigerator, I placed a topiary tied with burgundy and red ribbons, alongside the cutest candles I found at Walmart this year. They come in the prettiest plaid containers and smell wonderful—a cranberry, mandarin, and spiced citrus blend.

A cozy holiday scene features a small decorated Christmas tree with pinecones and a red plaid ribbon. Nearby, two festive mugs sit beside stacked mugs. In this classic setting, a glowing larger Christmas tree with lights and red ribbons completes the home tour ambiance.

On our corner countertop, I placed this small Christmas tree on a pedestal and added fairy lights to it. It fills the space beautifully and ties in with the festive theme.

A festive display features tiered shelving with Santa-themed mugs, plaid mugs, and patterned mugs. A miniature red house decoration and a napkin with red stripes are visible alongside Christmas tree branches.

Beside this small tree I placed our three-tier tray to hold our collection of seasonal mugs, Our daughter-in-law, Renee, gave us the cutest Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus mugs from Anthropologie last year, and they’ve earned their own special spot on the tray. I also added some adorable little felt houses (here and here) I found at Target this year, creating a fun and festive scene.

A blue bowl filled with shiny, textured ornaments in green and metallic gold sits on a table. A small evergreen branch is visible in the upper left corner.
