Seven on Saturday: An April Recap
Happy Saturday, friend! Wow, it has been a busy April full of busy Saturdays!!
We celebrated our 34th anniversary in Nashville the last weekend of March and while we were there, we visited the lovely Cheekwood Gardens to see all the gorgeous tulips in bloom!

Kyle and Renee came to Louisville for a visit the following weekend.
We headed to Knoxville for Miss Eden’s 2-year-old birthday party! (Can’t believe she’s already two!) It was the cutest Sesame Street party!!

And, last weekend we hosted a lovely bridal shower for my best friend’s sweet daughter! I’ll be sharing more about it soon!

It’s been a fun month, and this weekend we hope to get a little yard work done before next weekend arrives. We’re going to the Kentucky Oaks on Friday, a Derby Party on Saturday, house guests are coming for the weekend, and another bridal shower at the house on Sunday (not hosting that one, just providing the venue)!
Catching Up on the Blog:
Here are some fun blog posts from the past month, in case you’ve been as busy as I have and missed a few!

I shared our lavender, blue, and green spring decor color scheme in this post.

See how I made this flour-de-lis Derby door hanger featuring a colorful rick-rack and pom-pom bow!

Make a “spring-into-summer” hanging flower basket for your front door!

If your porch or patio needs a little furniture makeover, check out this fabulous set we just purchased!
Seven Things I’m Loving This Weekend:
- Wendy’s vintage vertical herb garden is fabulous! Plus, she shares lots of great tips for growing herbs!
- Make a colorful cork board for your work space.
- I’m going to try this 2-ingredient Pineapple Angel Food Cake. It sounds delightful!
- Do you love a pretty package? So many gorgeous vintage-inspired wrapping papers in this post!
- Lots of Teacher Appreciation gift ideas for the end of school!
- This kitchen is gorgeous!
- Love these Derby party decor ideas!
That’s all for this Saturday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Let me know in the comments if you have fun plans for the week!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
