Seven on Saturday

Welcome to the weekend, friends! I hope you’ve had a lovely week and have lots of fun things planned for the weekend.

We’re heading to volleyball tournament games today and tomorrow, and trying to get a few things done around the house this morning.

This spring is such a busy season for us with so many fun celebratory events happening in our family and with friends. My brain is swirling with thoughts of all the creative ideas and details of all that needs to be done!

Last weekend we visited with all of our Tennessee kids and that was fabulous! Eden is getting so close to walking! She certainly kept her Mimi and G Pa on our toes! She was quite enamored with her grandfather on this trip!

I’m hosting a bridal shower for my sweet friend’s future daughter-in-love in a couple of weeks, and I’ll be busy prepping for that the next two weeks. I’ll be sharing some of the pretty blue and white shower decor soon!

In breaking wedding news, I think I’ve finally found a mother-of-the-groom dress for Kyle’s wedding! (Well, at least it’s down to a couple of possibilities!)

Funny story — Kyle just released a new song yesterday, and talk about timing! The name of his song is “I Don’t Think We Landed on the Moon.” It’s actually a clever song about broken trust in a relationship (purely fictitious — we have a wedding in April;), not actual conspiracy theories, but how funny that the day before his release, we actually landed a spacecraft on the moon for the first time in over 50 years!!

And speaking of Kyle … he’s heading out on his first concert tour this week! I’m so excited (and a little nervous) for him! He’ll be in Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbus, and closing out the tour in Nashville next Saturday! We can’t wait to catch his concert in Nashville next weekend!
