Seven on Saturday 11/23/24

As we head into Thanksgiving week, I just want to express how very thankful I am for all of you! Thank you so much for following along, reading my posts, for your encouraging words and sweet comments. I appreciate you all so much!

We’re also very thankful to be at home this weekend. October and November has been a whirl of weekends away and it’s nice to have the weekend to catch up on a few things around here!

A bald man in a blue hoodie smiles as he carries a smiling toddler on his shoulders, enjoying the crisp air of 11/23/24. The toddler, wearing a blue outfit with striped pants, giggles amid the trees and fallen leaves on this clear day—a perfect moment for Seven on Saturday.

Last weekend, however, was pure joy babysitting our little granddaughter. She is the sweetest, funniest, smartest little 19 month old! She’s personality plus, and we had the BEST time with her!

Here at home, I’ve been decorating away this week, and our main level is completely decked out for the holidays! I have a few more spaces to tackle this weekend, and of course, there will be a few DIYs and crafts added in over the next few weeks!

We’re hostingThanksgiving here next Thursday with a smaller crew than usual, so I’ll set a festive Thanksgiving table in the midst of all our Christmas decor.

A dining table set for four with a white tablecloth, DIY leather fall table decor, wicker placemats, green and white plates, and amber glasses. A floral centerpiece with pumpkins and a rustic candle holder adds charm as light flows in through nearby shutters.

I shared the tablescape I’ll be recreating using these DIY suede leather details a few weeks ago in this post

Are you hosting Thanksgiving in your home this year? If so, do you make all the dishes, or does everyone pitch in? I’m so thankful to have lots of help with our meal!
