Seven on Saturday 6/24/23
Happy Saturday! It finally feels a little more like summer this morning. The sun is peeking through, and it’s a welcome site after a gloomy and relatively chilly week for the month of June.
Caroline has been at camp this past week, and Jeff and I have been living the “empty-nester” life. I’ve been able to catch up on a few blogging details that seem to be hard to get to most weeks. We spent a lot of quiet evenings on the screened porch, but also got out a few times with friends.
We even played our first game of pickleball! That was quite the adventure! I really liked it, and we’re not half bad!
I absolutely love to eat outdoors as often as we can during summer, and this week on the blog I shared an easy outdoor summer tablescape for summer entertaining.
I also shared some really pretty budget-friendly throw pillow options in this post. To make it easy for you, I paired some patterns together in looks that would be lovely for a summer sofa refresh!
Check out all of the pillow pattern combinations on the blog, but feel free to head to my Amazon store for all of the pillow links featured there.
Now, on to all of the fabulous finds from the week!
1. This patriotic fruit pizza is perfect for the 4th of July!
2. Such an elegant table for Independence Day!
3. This Boho Wood Lantern DIY is so much fun!
4. This designer’s portfolio is just dreamy!!
5. Lots of fresh summer decorating ideas in Juliet’s beautiful home!
6. Love Michele’s gorgeous tropical party decor!
7. This al fresco French country tablescape is just lovely!
That’s all for this week! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Sounds like you had a fun week being empty nesters! Rich played tennis for U of L so he would probably be great at pickleball! I don’t have an athletic bone in my body so not sure how I would do, lol!! Have a wonderful week!
It was a fun week, Donna! Oh, I’m sure you could play. It’s not quite as rigorous as tennis — at least if you play with others who aren’t overly competitive. Some of our crew fell on the more competitive side, so I had to work a little harder to keep up! I really liked it, though, and I’m not very athletic either.
