Seven on Saturday: A Few Things Brightening My Week
Happy first day of March! It certainly makes my heart happy to say goodbye to February and head closer to spring! We’ve had some much warmer weather this week in Kentucky and a little extra sunshine, so I’m excited for brighter and warmer days ahead!

I’ve been a little under the weather this week with some upper respiratory stuff and a bit of a sore throat, but I think I’ve turned the corner!
Our son, Kyle, started his 13-city concert tour this week, and we’ve had fun keeping up with all the details! Our daughter-in-law, Renee, is keeping us posted with fun videos to keep us in the loop! Looking forward to seeing him perform here in Louisville in a couple of weeks!
Here at home, it’s been all about the car search for Caroline! That’s the focus of the day (at least for Caroline and her dad). She takes her driver’s test in just a couple of weeks; actually, it’s less than a couple of weeks away—exciting times for her!
This Week on the Blog:
It’s been a busy week on the blog –from pretty updates for spring to a fun DIY project!

On Tuesday, I shared all about doing a little entryway refresh for spring. I highlighted some really pretty home decor finds that are great if you want to give your foyer a little update as we start a new season.

On Friday, I shared one of my favorite spring DIY crafts. If you love the look of all the spring blooming trees, this craft is for you. One of my favorite trees is the Eastern redbud tree, and I wanted to do a redbud bloom DIY. It turned out so cute; it was so easy, and I loved the end result.
