Seven on Saturday: A Cozy Start to the Season

A close-up of vibrant red and yellow pansies in the foreground, planted in a brown pot. In the background, there is a planter filled with orange and yellow flowers against a white wooden structure, slightly out of focus—perfect inspiration for an easy fall wreath DIY.

Bits & Pieces

  • We’re officially in the birthday zone in our family. It runs from August through November. Sarah kicked it off last Friday. Kyle celebrated 27 years this week on Wednesday, and Caroline turns 17 tomorrow!
A silicone mold tray featuring various ornate designs, including vintage-style picture frames, a clock face with Roman numerals, and decorative bird and floral motifs—perfect for adding a Cozy Start to your creative projects.
A green hardcover book titled "The Familiar Stranger" by Tyler Staton rests on a table, partially overlapping a woven basket—a Cozy Start for any season. The cover features abstract line art of a bird and bold white text.
  • What are you reading right now? I’m in between books, but our small group is getting ready to begin a study on this book.
  • Rosie is extra fluffy and soft and smells amazing after her puppy spa day this week. It’s the best smell. I think she knows she’s extra cute right now.
  • In home organization news, I’m very behind on the whole basement/craft room organization plan! I need to step it up because Eden will be here soon and needs a place to sleep!

It was a great week on the blog!
