Bits & Pieces

Between out-of-town trips, caring for sick parents, and LOTS of Christmas decorating, November has been a busy season for us, so there’s lots to catch up on!

Three women smiling and posing together indoors in front of a decorated window that says "Cake Bake," surrounded by flowers and soft lighting, create a scene full of beautiful finds and warm home vibes.
A crystal chandelier with hanging beads and white flowers decorates a bright, elegant room with large windows. People sit at tables below, enjoying a meal in a stylish café filled with beautiful finds and a warm home atmosphere.

  • In late October, I had a fun girls’ trip to Carmel, Indiana with my friends, Suanne and Patti. I had never been there before, and it’s a quaint little town outside Indianapolis with fun shopping and restaurants. They’re most known for their Christkindlmarkt, which actually opens this weekend and runs through Christmas Eve. We ate lunch at the beautiful Cake Bake Shop, which is definitely a must-see! Look at all those beautiful cakes!
A young girl smiles while holding a donut, sitting at a café table with a woman who is also enjoying these beautiful finds. The table has more donuts and a phone on it, with plants and windows giving the space a warm home feel.

  • And of course, there has been LOTS of Christmas decorating around here this month!

It was a great week on the blog!
